MIDI-relay with 4 relay outputs

• 4 electromagnetic SPDT (NO&NC) relay outputs for controlling general loads of up to 10A at up to 250V AC/DC
• opto-insulated MIDI input
• MIDI Trough output (real)
• LED indicators for:
  • Power
  • MIDI activity
  • Relay status (4 LEDs)
• User-selectable MIDI channel (1..16)
• User-selectable starting note (0..60, in steps of 4)

• Upon initiating System power up (turning the key On):

1. Relay#1 applies power to computer PSU;

2. Relay#2 actuates computer’s “Power” button for short time;

3. The computer first loads Windows, then runs Hauptwerk;

4. Hauptwerk reports to HWPS when it is loaded and ready;

5. Relay#3 applies power to console MIDI system (and touchscreens);

6. Relay#4 applies power to audio system.

• Upon initiating System shut down (turning the key Off):

1. Relay#4 removes power from the audio system;

2. Relay#3 removes power from console MIDI system (and touchscreens);

3. HWPS sends special SysEx command to Hauptwerk to make it unload and initiate Windows shut down;

4. Upon unloading, Hauptwerk sends confirmation message to HWPS. This indicates that Windows has started its shutdown procedure.

5. After some time (experimentally determined) the computer has shut down. Relay#1 removes the power from computers PSU.
